Excited!!
I don’t normally post two blogs on the same day. In fact, if you look over my recent blogging history you will see that I don’t always post two in the same week!!! But I am so excited about something that happened today. I just had to share it!
My newest novel, Sonshine and Rain, is not nearly finished. In fact, all I have so far is an opening chapter. This afternoon, I was doing research for that book, on the small town where the story takes place. While talking to the president of the historical society in that town, a door opened that I was not expecting. She asked if I would be interested in having them (the historical society) promote and sell the book in town. WOW!!!

I cannot remember a time when I was not telling stories. As a little girl, I used to gather all of my dolls and stuffed animals together for story time. At night, I annoyed my sisters by whispering my stories until I fell asleep. In fifth grade, I met Mrs. Sue Niedzielski. Mrs. N. fed my creativity, encouraging me to write down my stories. Her excitement and support fueled my desire to be a writer. Twenty years later, she is still one of my biggest fans—outside of my family, of course!
My published books are Forsaking the Call (December 2008) and Summertime (May 2009). The Ladies of Faith, the first in a three-part series, is scheduled for publication later this year.
That is TERRIFIC! You go, Lynn! This just proves you never know when these doors are going to open – and that you must be ready to step right on through when they do!
Now, you just have to finish the book! LOL
Take care and congrats!

Great response. Usually happens when I’m not expecting anything at all. God never ceases to surprise us…..

What a great opportunity! Congratulations. Sounds like one of those “God appointments.”
